WEBRA Power Monitor PM2
Bericht von Frank Toorenburg, Holland ( ft@chello.nl )

From all the gadgets and useful tools there are on the market there is one that you need to have in your model, the Webra Power Monitor 2, PM2, a multifunctional checker.

A normal voltage checker will show you only the battery voltage which will say nothing about your voltage during the flight (full operating).
Especially if you use Digital servo's the current can be high and let you voltage drop. The PM2 will show you the minimal voltage reached during flight. So this will tell you that you need to charge your battery, your battery is getting old or that your battery leads are to thin, bad servo (draw to much current).

The other great function is that the PM2 will monitor your receiver servo-pulse. If during the flight this pulse was incorrect or that your receiver went in fail safe during flight the PM2 will warn you by buzzer and flashing a led (the times the LED flashes will indicate the times your signal was not good). Some examples what it can tell you; Receiver defect, crystal defect, battery leads defect, battery switch defect, other radio is interfering on you channel, radio defect, etc, etc.

Other minor functions; model finder, if you lost you model and you will turn off your radio the buzzer will sound. When you turn your receiver on it will indicate how many battery cells are connected by sounding the buzzer 4, 5 or 6 times.

As you can see, a very useful tool that needs to be placed in every model.
